Project Overview
Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence is a global leader in digital reality solutions, combining sensor, software, and autonomous technologies. Their technologies shape production and people-related ecosystems, driving connectivity and autonomy for a scalable, sustainable future across the industrial, manufacturing, infrastructure, and public sectors.
My Role
As a Lead Designer, I played a key role in visual design, branding, and marketing initiatives. I led the design and optimization of user-centered landing pages, the customer portal, social media, and marketing campaigns. My responsibilities included conducting user research, creating wireframes, developing prototypes, and executing A/B testing. Additionally, I developed a robust design system to standardize and streamline design processes across Hexagon’s expanding portfolio.
Results
The designed landing pages for Hexagon’s new product lines that led to higher engagement, leading to a higher volume in demo requests and brochure downloads. By focusing on clear value propositions and intuitive calls to action, users quickly understood the benefits of Hexagon’s B2B offerings, resulting in measurable business impact.
When optimizing the customer portal, my primary focus was on simplifying navigation and enhancing the overall user experience. Through careful user research and iterative design, I addressed key pain points, leading to a more intuitive experience that significantly reduced bounce rates and improved user satisfaction across user interactions.
I also developed a comprehensive design system to unify Hexagon’s brand across various touchpoints, boosting project efficiency, especially during a period of rapid growth and multiple major acquisitions.
Social Media
For Social Media, I worked on making complex technical information more accessible and engaging. By simplifying the messaging and incorporating interactive elements like infographics and short videos, I was able to drive a substantial increase in user engagement, making Hexagon’s innovations more relatable and easier to understand for a broader audience.
Marketing Campaigns
I spearheaded various marketing campaigns, including the design of eBooks, infographics, and web banners. These assets effectively communicated complex technical information, enhancing user engagement and reinforcing Hexagon’s brand identity. The eBooks provided in-depth insights tailored for B2B audiences across multiple industries, while the infographics distilled key information into easily digestible visuals, and the web banners drove targeted traffic to key landing pages. Together, these efforts played a crucial role in amplifying Hexagon’s digital presence and connecting with a broader audience.
