Project Overview
IPSY, a leader in personalized beauty subscriptions, sought to reignite interest around its curated products amid a rapidly growing competitive landscape. The goal was to refresh the visual identity and enhance the member experience across digital and print channels to reflect IPSY’s evolving brand personality and community-driven ethos.
Challenge
Design captivating visuals that could seamlessly translate across print (subscription boxes and inserts) and digital platforms (website, email campaigns, and social media). The refresh needed to feel elevated yet playful, sparking anticipation while maintaining alignment with IPSY’s established brand DNA.
My Role
As the Lead designer, I directed the visual refresh initiative, crafting cohesive and vibrant assets that unified IPSY’s brand presence across all platforms. This ensured a seamless brand experience while injecting fresh energy. Additionally, I developed innovative gift box concepts for marketing campaigns, expanding reach and fostering member engagement.
Results
IPSY’s visual refresh significantly boosted engagement and brand excitement, driving measurable results across multiple channels. Email click-through rates jumped by 15%, time spent on the IPSY website increased by 10%, Social Media engagement saw a 20% rise in average likes, comments, and shares, and there was a 12% rise new member signups driven innovative gift box campaigns.
