Project Overview

OMFIT is a mobile fitness application that combines personalized training, adaptive music, and an immersive at-home experience into a single robust experience. What sets OMFIT apart is its music-driven personalization, users can choose from hundred of genres, and the app intelligently syncs the workout tempo to match the rhythm and intensity of each session, enhancing motivation and flow.

Wireframes

In the wireframing phase, I focused on defining the app’s information architecture and visual hierarchy through multiple rounds of paper and digital prototypes.

Key objectives included: structuring primary content categories for effortless discoverability, integrating intuitive search and filtering features for customized workou exploration, establishing clear navigation pathways and interaction zones optimized for mobile ergonomics. These wireframes laid the foundation for a clean, intuitive experience that minimized friction and allowed users to stay in flow during workouts.

Visual Language

With the structural framework finalized, I transitioned into developing OMFIT’s visual language and interface system.

I established a bold yet minimal aesthetic, pairing modern sans-serif typography system with a dynamic, high-contrast color palette to communicate energy and focus. The flat iconography system ensured fast visual recognition and reinforced the clean, approachable tone of the product.

To enhance onboarding, I designed a series of custom illustrations that visually guided users through setup and feature discovery, helping new members navigate unfamiliar controls with ease. These visuals played a critical role in humanizing the digital experience, turning functional flows into moments of motivation and delight.

Results

OMFIT’s launch introduced a cohesive, user-centered experience that drove measurable impact across key usability and engagement metrics. Early analytics showed a 28% increase in daily active sessions and a 40% completion rate improvement during onboarding, reflecting strong user adoption and intuitive interaction flow.

The new visual system and user-first interface became the foundation for the OMFIT’s scalable product roadmap, enhancing information hierarchy, discoverability, and user retention through a seamless fusion of music and movement. Post-launch surveys highlighted a notable rise in perceived motivation and workout satisfaction, validating the success of a design intentionally crafted to inspire consistency and momentum.
